 Bighorn Sheep...

Slam Ram for Mr. James Kemp - Texas Gentleman

This hunt is a 14 day trip, including the pick up and departure days. You and your guide and camp crew horse pack into fly camp. The season runs from approximately September 1 to October 15. Some of our guides have been with us for 15 years and we are honored to have such a tenacious, hardworking crew.

We have eight sheep permits combined in Wildlife management units 422, South Ram River and Unit 426, the WhiteRabbit watershed. The history of hunting in these areas is well documented by artist Carl Rungius and author John H. Batten throughout the early 1900’s.

Rocky Mountain Elk...

Elk Steak for Supper!

Units 422 and 426 are the main designated areas for Elk hunting. The big bulls are truly trophies and we look forward to each Elk hunt. Check out the trophies in Boone and Crockett for the Ram River area. There is a challenge to this hunt like no other. Although we don’t often book these hunts, we have had great success. The Sheep hunts often overrule in a combination hunt. The seclusion of the WhiteRabbit area and the headwaters make them prime for good opportunity. This is a 10 day, one on one guided trip including pick up and departure days. The season is from September 20 to November 30.

Deer, Wolf & Combination Hunts...

Cabin Camp Moose

Offering combination hunts for different species is a great opportunity for individual hunters.  Whitetail, Mule Deer, Black Bear, Wolf, Sheep and Elk can each be offered depending upon the season schedule and of course, the hunter’s schedule. We have some monster Mulies and Whitetails that take up residence in the high country and also in the ranchland. Wolves are another worthwhile trophy to the most deserving hunters. Be sure to include a tag in your hunt package.

"Hey fellas...are you lookin' for me?"

We have some of the best trophies in Alberta taken right in our own back yard. The ranchlands offer protection for these big bucks enabling a hunter to wait strategically for the big one. Our Moose hunts are batting 100%. Combination Whitetail/Mule Deer/Moose hunts are a good value. These are a seven day package.

Cougar Hunts...

Dr Jeff Hindbo, son Nickolas & Lorne Hindbo

During our Alberta winters we have the opportunity to spend time in the great outdoors tracking and treeing these cats...working with dogs that face the challenge with courage and eagerness while the hunters cruise through the timber country checking tracks or listening for that “treed” bay of some great dogs. There is nothing like it!

This is an eight day hunt including pick up and departure dates. Snow machines or quads are included and the season runs December 1 to the end of February.

"Treed" this one twice!
