Pack Trips, Trail Rides & Tours

Welcome to our
world!
We are fortunate to live as we do…
Our family business has a long history of accommodating
horseback riders of all ages & skill levels.
|
Pack up for a day’s ride on a solid mountain pony that has
proven itself reliable with our own children. Join us at our
home away from home for hospitality styled in the tradition of
old time outfitters. |
|
 |
|
 |
|
Families, youth groups or any groups are all welcome to join in
on pack trips and other scheduled events. |
|

What to expect...
|

Purple Elephants... |
|
After arriving at base camp & getting acquainted, we will
introduce you to the horses & facilities. We will spend that day
riding and generally using this day as a warm up.
Wandering through
the high country we
will learn about
riding of course but
there is much more…
Beautiful flowers,
photo opts, wild
horse corrals,
river, mountain,
valley views. This
area is well known
for the wildlife so
don’t be too
surprised seeing
bears, both
grizzlies and black
and elk!
Camp life involves R & R, clean tents & foamies, Cozy wood
stoves, the sounds of the high country & a good nights rest
after a great day of riding. We appreciate that it takes time to
settle into the saddle but the horses & equipment will be suited
to you.
Sharing your experiences with other riders around a glowing
campfire evokes memories that last your lifetime. Make a Memory! |

WINTER STUFF - CROSS COUNTRY SKIING...

View from the cabin - A great day to ski!
DO YOU LIKE BACK COUNTRY
SKIING?
Cross-country skiing in the
backcountry is the greatest thrill!
Come stay with us and ski
your heart out. We have miles and miles of crown land from
our doorstep at the ranch at Caroline. Ski from the house
for a day over hills and valleys through the trails that
lead out to Beaver Lake and Moose Lake. This is amazing
country, especially with four to six inches of fresh snow
and sunshine.

At the North Ram Base camp,
stay in a cabin and ski through some of the best wilderness
you have ever experienced. This is a favorite winter
activity. A cozy wood stove and hot supper finishes of a
great day.

For $150 a day it is
a worthwhile experience
& a long lasting memory

Happy Campers! |
|
WE'VE GOT
JUST THE PLACE FOR YOU!
We have
planned many fun activities that we know your child will enjoy!
|
Our summer and holiday horse camps aim to teach children (ages
9-17) about the wonderful world of horses. Through horse-related
games and activities, campers learn about the care of horses,
their characteristics, breeds, colors, and safe handling -- both
on the ground and while mounted -- in a fun-filled environment.
Children are supervised by trained staff and learn horsemanship
skills from horses suitable for the young rider. Kids Horse Camp
is designed for all levels of riders -- from a child's first
experience with a horse to an experienced junior rider who wants
to show English or Western.
The campers find out what it really means to own a horse.
Their daily duties include morning feeding, brushing, cleaning
out hooves, saddling, riding lessons, bathing, braiding mane and
cleaning after their horse. Riding lessons given by certified
riding instructors. Our leaders are members of ACA, APOS, AOA,
Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA), Canadian Equestrian
Federation (CEF), & the NCCA (National Coaching Certification Association),
and have many years of 4-H & Pony Club experience as leader, coaches
& members

prosper physically and mentally. We offer a summer break and a
chance to spend time with some quality horses, fun activities,
great games, campfires and of course the food! Ropes courses,
fly-fishing, river tubing, Maze Mountain and other horse games,
lots to do!
